What is it?

Wormswork™ composite mix is the pure unadulterated vermicastings that are generated by millions of busy compost making worms while the golden liquid often called ‘worms wee’ is the leached liquid that we remove from the castings so they don’t drown the worms in our controlled environment. This odourless liquid is the perfect clean garden solution that will enhance your garden with less effort.

Wormswork™ garden products are the astute gardeners’ way of giving your garden that professional quality look with minimal effort.

The economic feasibility of using vermicast-based products has been identified and proven by Wormswork™ over the past 6 years, as we perfected our sustainable use of recycled inputs and perfected consistently reliable products with every batch we produced.

The physical characteristics are that our worm castings are hygroscopic and absorb six times their weight in water. The castings have a light and friable texture, easy to spread and yet compact and do not blow around.  When wet, water enters the media readily without runoff, even on steep sites to 27 degrees incline. When used at planting time in the planting hole, moisture is conserved at the root zone not on the surface as with so many mulches.

Now widely used by glasshouse truss tomato growers, broad acre revegetation planters, specialty bulb growers for cut flower production, hydroponic vegetable growers and by municipal amenity and corporate turf culture organisations. Some outstanding results have been witnessed with root development on open field rose production where three year root growth occurred in one year, without the three year canopy.

Ferns and grasses developed rapid root growth from plug transplants as a result and winter turf applications of liquid resulted in sound root development without forcing leaf growth. Vine cuttings in trials have shown 40% more root development than is experienced with normal vine cuttings in just 6 weeks. Being fully organic and certified by NASAA as such these are the perfect farm inputs for certified organic production. The liquid exhibits fungistatic action as well as leaving a fine oily gloss on fruits when applied as a foliar spray and being so fine without sediment can be used through in-line fertigators or drips and misters. We ask that you try it in your most difficult situation, as a wetting agent, moisture-holding media and to boost action exchange and root development.
