As energetic gardeners we all love to recycle; whether it’s organic materials, building materials or kitchen putrescibles. I propose that you seriously consider recycling the dollars you have already invested in your garden.
It’s really simple. Using the by products of the composting worms, you can turn the leached nutrients that all gardens have, back into valuable plant nutrients that are rapidly available to your plants, turning the lost and leached nutrient deposits into flowers and fruits once again, that you can harvest, sell or use in your own kitchen; turning lost dollars into currency again.
The golden liquid that worms generate as a by product is being sold these days by Wormsworks Technologies so that even if you don’t have your own worm farm you can add these concentrated liquids that are loaded with soil micro-organisms as the organic buffer to your garden that will radically improve its soil structure, drainage and living activity, all of which greatly aids your productivity on even the poorest soils. Well sand dunes are a challenge, but most other soils will show improvement within 2 weeks in the growth season.
